ApexGolf

Designing and building a booking system to manage and control Apex tee time availability.

Through strategic partnerships, the Apex team is able to offer a limited number of tee times at each of its partner courses to members of its golf community.

Rum&Code was brought in to design and build a member portal where golfers can book their Apex tee times, manage their reservations, and handle their annual membership subscription.

The core challenge of this project was building a robust management system that allows the ApexGolf team to create and manage courses, control availability, handle reservations, invoice used Apex tee times, and get a full overview of their members' activity.

The web application built for ApexGolf features two key roles: the user (member) and the manager (Apex administrator). Both are tightly connected through the app's core functionality: the Apex tee time booking system.

Members create an account, subscribe to the Apex plan, and can then book tee times at any partner golf course through the booking interface. Players can add other members to their reservation and cancel a round at any time.

The administrator portal dashboard is the heart of the company's operations, providing a clear view of upcoming rounds, cancelled bookings, and completed rounds ready to be invoiced.

The solution also offers members automatic subscription renewal through the Stripe integration.

ApexGolf launched in 2020 and is now active across five regions in Quebec. The web application is performing strong and will continue to evolve over time, bringing even more valuable features to the golfing community.
